no video when recording

i have had some trobble over the past few weeks over the recordings that i have made when i finnish the recording it wont let me play it and when i go in to the out put folder it has a black screen and just audio and no video im trying to record gta 5 im on widows 10 i have try to use mp4 and avi but they just do the same thing so please help me becasue i need this fixed fast!
