Is lossless recording possible?

I've been using action for about a year now and for gameplay, it's fantastic. When it comes to desktop recording, I can't say I like it. I am about to start a tutorial channel and fraps used to work great for me before I moved to windows 8 followed by windows 10, its not compatible with desktop recording anymore but Action is.
The problem is that fraps used to have brilliant recording quality, absolutely perfect, pixel to pixel (large file size but I didn't care). Action, even at high settings doesn't appear to have this.
I record a video in 1080p, make it full screen and you can see text on the screen is noticeably more blurry as you alt tab to switch between the video at full screen and your real desktop. Stare at the clock text and you can see as you switch, the action recorded clock text in the bottom of your desktop is blurrier than the actual desktop clock text.
How can I record lossless so it records pixel for pixel the actual desktop quality?
