Yes, I've 2 graphic cards : I have a Nvidia GeForce and a generic Intel HD Graphic card. But whatever the one I choose to start Action, both get the same result: the program still loops.radi wrote:Did you had another graphic card plugged to your PC? Like switching from AMD to Nvidia or vice versa?
We had two similar cases. One was related to compatibility mode (launching Action with lower Windows version than user current) and second where user previously had an AMD card for example and switched to Nvidia card. There was a conflict between video drivers from both manufacturers.StarflashW wrote:Yes, I've 2 graphic cards : I have a Nvidia GeForce and a generic Intel HD Graphic card. Is it possible that the loop's caused by a compatibility issue with Microsoft Visual C++ ? Does Action use it ?
nb : My computer is a laptop Asus Rog G551.
The software works fine in Safe Mode, so I guess it is a drivers conflict. But I still have no idea which ones (I think it's not a graphic drivers conflict anyway as I tried to disable them both). I'm going to pursue my investigation. If you ever think about something, you're welcomeradi wrote:We had two similar cases. Have you tried doing a clean driver installation?StarflashW wrote:The software works fine in Safe Mode, so I guess it is a drivers conflict. Still crashing, loading, crashing, Ad vitam æternam....
