No, Action is launched with no special option except the "Administration Mode" checked. But even while I uncheck the Administration Mode, the software still loops without stopping. :(

Did you had another graphic card plugged to your PC? Like switching from AMD to Nvidia or vice versa?

Yes, I've 2 graphic cards : I have a Nvidia GeForce and a generic Intel HD Graphic card. But whatever the one I choose to start Action, both get the same result: the program still loops.

Is it possible that the loop's caused by a compatibility issue with Microsoft Visual C++ ? Does Action use it ?

nb : My computer is a laptop Asus Rog G551.

I noticed I only have directx 11, although that wouldn't explain why I can't run old version anymore either

We had two similar cases. One was related to compatibility mode (launching Action with lower Windows version than user current) and second where user previously had an AMD card for example and switched to Nvidia card. There was a conflict between video drivers from both manufacturers.

The software works fine in Safe Mode, so I guess it is a drivers conflict. But I still have no idea which ones (I think it's not a graphic drivers conflict anyway as I tried to disable them both). I'm going to pursue my investigation. If you ever think about something, you're welcome ;)

I still have not been able to figure out a fix for Action. I've tried starting it in safemode but it will not start which is probably due to being unable to start the Action service in safemode. Is there anything else I can try?

Have you tried doing a clean driver installation?
