Action! Won't Open

Every time I try to open action, I get this error message saying that Action is already running. I go into task manager and find a total of 6 background processes. I'll end all of them but when I try to open the program it just runs in the background and the program doesn't open. I'm trying to figure it out so I could change settings as I need.
