Can Action! record DirectX11?

Thu Dec 01, 2016 9:34 pm

Playing Path of Exile, that just recently switch to DirectX11, and I'm trying to record, and my files are just completly black *yet* I see my cursor move around (without any sound).

Can it record DirectX11, and if not is there a plan for it?

Do you use anti-aliasing in your game?

Well, yes. And as you gave me a hint here, I disabled it completly, and now I'm able to record! So... how come it can record without any anti-aliasing, and can't with it?

Probably the AA is somehow changing how the image is displayed and we are unable to capture it. I will forward this to our developers to see if we can fix this.

Hey, I had the same problem and unfortunately disabling AA did nothing for me, so I started wondering if there was anything else that was messing with AA. I was using program called ReShade which allows to modify shaders. https://reshade.me/ (pretty powerful tool by the way)

After removing it Action works fine even with AA setting in Path of Exile turned on. I know that I'm 7 weeks late but I thought you would want to know.
