Cannot record gameplay of Faster Than Light (Steam version)

So as the title states. I have trouble recording gameplay of the game Faster than light (steam version).
Everytime i try to open up the game, it freezes and chrashes.

Here is the kicker, when Action! is not active on my computer I can run the game just fine. Action! has also worked perfectly with recording of other games, it is just this one game that is causing trouble. Iam not really sure why the game chrashes, but i know it is something that has to do when Action! is also active on the computer.

Please help

Do you guys need more specifics on the computer?

MSI, Nvidia Geforce 880 GTX, 12 GB RAM, Wondows 10-64bit, i7-4810MQ @2.80ghz 2.80ghz.

Does it use any anti-cheat protection services?
