1. So when using the File Format I've been using MP4(NVIDIA NVENC), since that was what worked best for me, but I'm curious what the difference between "MP4(NVIDIA NVENC)" and "MP4(NVIDIA NVENC HEVC)".

2. Also I'm trying to get the best possible output for 60FPS videos. I have it set to "MP4(NVIDIA NVENC)" for the File output, 1080p for Video size, and 60 for the Video Frame rate. Recording mode set to "Games and Application". I do play most my games in full screen. It seems to work I'm just curious if there is another setting that may work better.

HEVC provides almost the same video quality but the file size is smaller (twice). It's also provides slightly better recording performance.

Your settings sounds good, I'd keep them or switch to AVI if you are not limited by disk space.

Well I currently have an NVidia GTX 1060 so would it better to use the NVENC HEVC or still use the AVI format?

That depends, if you are not limited by disk space and going for the best possible video quality select AVI. However after post-processing you will have to still render it as MP4 before uploading it to YouTube. MP4 NVENC HEVC provides a really good quality and it can go straight up to YouTube.

Perfect! Thanks. No I'm not limited by disk space. So i'll switch it to AVI since I edit my videos. Thanks a lot for clearing things up for me.
