Something is wrong with my recordings! please help

Hi there

i bought action a couple days ago
uptill yesterday everything was fine, i could record, the video was there and so was the audio
as of today however when i record in mp4 there is neither audio or video and when i record in avi there is only video (and only if open with windows media player, if i just double click it it will give me the error 0xc00d36c4 and say Playing not possible, this file cannot be played. this may be because the filetype is not supported, because the file extension is wrong or because the file is damaged)
that was a literal translation, the actual message was in dutch.

i'm really confused here because it worked a day ago so the file should be supported and be able to be played and so should the extensions.

I added several images in attachment that may be able to tell you more then i can
the first image is the error i get, the second shows that the faulty videos have a different then the working ones as the faulty ones have no thumbnails.
