CHANGING THE ACTIVE SCREEN

I use a multi screen setup and when I try to swap the active screen it records my secondary screen. This happens even in area capture which is beyond me. I just want to use this to record X Plane 11. Please help.

To switch between active screen press F8. Blue HUD indicates currently active screen.
