Hey guys,

Seen there is a new version of Action out, 2.2.0. I saw this line in the release notes:

Added 2 input devices recording (ex. 2 microphones at the same time)

Anyone know how this feature works? Can't seem to see any difference myself.

I can't seem to see either of these that are listed in the change log:

Added 2 input devices recording (ex. 2 microphones at the same time)
Added mono system sound recording

I noticed this as well in the notes. I've also had a look around it but cannot find the option. I tried having 2 mics plugged in at once to see if it records both at once however it only records one.

The purpose for this is if you can add an extra track to your video recording for editing purposes.
1. main pc output audio channel for game audio, computer tutorials, etc.
2. You can set the second channel to record your microphone input so you can modify the levels of your voice in the editing process.
3. If you use a teamspeak/discord/etc you can choose what you want to keep or remove from your footage. (someone being too loud/racist/etc)

I've been wondering when this feature would be available!

And now that I actually read the post properly, I do not see it either going through the menus

you can choose one microphone in Audio Settings and another microphone in Microphone Settings. You can mix them or record them on separate audio tracks.

Ah ok, so the wait for multi channel is still ongoing. I see what you mean now, you can still only record 2 audio tracks not 3.

Any news on multi audio track recording, ie. more than 2 tracks?

Would/is multi channel the thing where I can have it record the game audio in one track, skype audio in another track, and then my microphone on another track? Cause that would be awesome, and so much better for editing.

Yep that's exactly what I'm talking about when I say multi channel. At present Action's definition of multi channel is just two audio tracks, (which technically is multi channel), but 3 channels is really what we're all asking for here.
