More than a week ago I send an email to support@mirillis.com but I didn't get an answer, so I put it here.

I recently upgrade my graphics card from a GTX 750 TI to a GTX 960 (and reinstall windows) and when I watch or edit the videos I record with this codec the firsts seconds of all videos start with a grey screen. Only in the program player I see the video correctly. I try other programs to record with this codec, like bandicam, and works well. The programs I use to see the videos are the VLC player and a extension for chrome, and the program I use for edit videos is VSDC video editor. I try to reinstall action, but nothing.

A video showing the problem: https://youtu.be/t5E-Nb2iV_8

Windows version: Windows 7 Professional SP1
PC specification:
CPU: AMD FX 6300
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 (2GB)
RAM: 12GB
HDD 1: 1TB WESTERN DIGITAL SATA3 64MB CAVIAR BLUE (PRINCIPAL)
HDD 2: 2TB SEAGATE SATA3 7200rpm 64MB BARRACUDA (USE FOR SAVE RECORDING)
Number of displays: 3 (1920x1080,1280X1024,1440X900)

I have the same problem. I think it only happens when I record using nVidia NVENC HEVC hardware acceleration. I just did a clean install of Windows 10 and the grey is still on the recorded videos for the first couple of seconds.

This occurs when I record a streaming video like YouTube in Chrome browser using the Active desktop region setting.

Windows 10 x64
Intel Core i7-6700K
32GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM
Samsung 960 Pro 1TB
nVidia GeForce 980Ti (Official 378.78 Game Ready WHQL Display Driver)
