Problem with Audio Quality MP4 & AVI

I do ASMR videos and audio quality is very important.
I used to record MP4 but realized the audio sounds very compressed, kind of metallic even at highest setting.
When i switched to AVI the audio quality was perfect.
but then the webcam wasn't recording onto the AVI file so i had to export the file. but all exporting is MP4 and so the quality again sucks no matter what quality setting.
so how can i export as AVI or fix the audio quality?
