Has anyone successfully recorded anything from Rockstar's "L.A. Noire"? Using Action 1.2.0, the HUD never appears and the record hotkey records absolutely nothing.
Am using the retail (Non-Steam) version of the game. Both vanilla and patched versions fail to function.

Voxatron from "The humble Voxatron Debut" exhibits exactly same behaviour.

Oh, and please make a proper fix for Skyrim. Even in windowed mode it works highly unstable on my system.
EDIT: Scratch the Skyrim issue - for reasons unknown it's suddenly working perfectly.

Hi, we havent tested LA Noire in our labs yet but have seen some recording on the web made with Action! We will try to investigate it asap.

Do you have patched version of Skyrim or original game?

My Skyrim troubles are solved, as I edited my original post to reflect.
Only L.A. Noire remains problematic, and updating to 1.3.0 have not helped either. Thanks for investigating, much appreciated.

You may halt your investigations, the latest game update made recording work in both DX9 and DX11 modes.

Sorry to dredge up old thread, but I just finally got LA Noire on Steam and am having this same problem mentioned in this old thread: the HUD does not appear, so I can't start recording using Action. I have tried both the DirectX 9 and 11 modes in the game. Any ideas?

This thread is about 1.2.0 version which is one of the oldest ones. If you experience this problem with new version feel free to start new thread. Closed.
