hello guys, good after updating to windows 10 fall creator update, Action! 2.8.0 stopped recording. I generate a blank 256kb file, I also do not capture images and the webcam activates me, which I did not do before.

apparently it became incompatible the latest version of windows with action!

I confirm that I have the same problem. With an official and personal action key;
Since the last update of Windows Insider 10 I can't record from my desktop, only works with the Gamming mode
My computeur isn't young but it's a nice baby

All was fine until Windows 10 Fall Creator Update.

Now there is no HUD and won't record.

Same thing for me! I just sent them a email about it. Have you figured anything out yet?

But I am sure my recorder was working AFTER i patched windows, but stopped working a few hours later.

But updating windows and Action itself were the only two changes I made.

Hope it is fixed soon.

EDIT_ Thanks to this post I now know gaming mode works for me. Lets see if it works. Still no hud displaying though.

This problem has been fixed in version 2.8.1
