Action makes game lag. Even when NOT recording.

So something odd is going on with Action for me. When it's running in the background it makes my games lag intermittently. I've tried limiting Action to recording at 30 fps. I've tried running the game I play (FFXIV) limited to 60 fps and unlimited. Unlimited it will do 100 or so fps with Action running.

No matter what, if Action is running in the background - recording or not, it will lower my FPS to about half. I have no other recording software or games running in the background.

Should I contact support about this? Anyone else have this issue? Maybe someone here found a fix?

I would have attached my DxDiag file here but attaching txt-files is not allowed. So Ill paste some of it here:

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
