recording suggestion

Sun Jan 07, 2018 4:22 pm

Hello,

Right now under the "Active screen" recording tab, you can select an application which you want to record (https://i.imgur.com/XD3A5hz.png). I found that feature kinda useless because it records your entire screen as well but then just with a random blue theme to it. Wouldn't it be better if it only records the application, instead of recording your entire screen and only focus the application?

Regards, Florian

Hello Florian,

Thank you for your suggestion, however, if you want to record the application only you can use Active desktop region mode. Then you can adjust the frame to application windows or select "Snap to windows" for better frame regulation. Please have a look at the screenshot below. Application recording mode is useful if you have many apps or docs opened on your screen and these are for example sensitive data you don't want anyone to see but you don't want to close the windows. Then you can easily and quickly record the selected application and the rest will stay blacken out.
