When I start recording the "active screen", the whole screen will flash on and off a few times, and then Windows 10 will pop up with a message saying that the display driver failed to start. It then reverts back to a "basic driver". The program continues to record, but the resolution gets messed up, so I have to stop anyway. If I play back the video, it's choppy with frame drops.
I'm using an iMac 2017 with a 5K monitor (5120x2880). I have a dual installation, so it's running Windows 10. I wonder if it's an issue with ultra high res monitors?
If this helps, the OS treats the monitor like a dual screen setup. The left half of the screen is monitor 1, and the right half is monitor 2. When Action! crashes, Windows 10 resets to the "basic driver", and only the left half of the screen is displayed (it's not cropped, just an odd resolution). The right half is black.
Also, I appreciate that Action now has a 150% window size mode. But honestly, it could use some more at this resolution How about a 200% option?
