No signal from webcam

I'm having an issue where Action will record video and audio perfectly, but no matter what settings I adjust or which USB port I use, it can't get a signal from my webcam. Other applications can access it normally, and action is the only program to have this problem. If it helps at all, it is a Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920. Everything I've found on this subject is severely outdated, and the email I send to support was not responded to.

Hello, please install the latest version of Action!, which is 3.1.6 and see if it works.
If the problem persists then try installing the latest logitech drivers, that you can find here:
drivers for Windows 10 and Windows 8
drivers for Windows 7
