Action! causing Game Crash on Windows 10

So I got a new computer recently and whenever I try to record I open Action then whatever game I'm going to record and the game doesn't start up properly it just tries then crashes. When I open the game first it crashes the moment I open Action, which can be circumvented as long as I make sure the Game Window stays on top of the Action window, but if I do that then the moment I start recording the game crashes instantly. And After more than two days of trying to figure out what the F@#$ is wrong and searching for an answer online of which I found none that work (obviously) does anyone know a way I could fix this?
