Hi guys,
I´ve worked several months with action and always have recorded in mp4
But now it only lets me record in AVI. when i try to record in mp4, it stops and
the message is that Action don´t responde, so it crashes.
I really need some help.

your problem may be related with audio recording.
Please go to Seetings -> Audio and disable "Record system sounds" option and see if the issue persists.

Maybe you could try this: right-tap the desktop link to Action! and choose properties, and then select the Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility mode, you need to uncheck "Run this program in compatibility mode for". It fixed the issue for me. I installed Joyoshare Screen Recorder as well last month. It helps me capture online meetings in 1080p with mic. If you still can't solve your problem, maybe you could give it a shot to save your time and energy.
