Hello;
I often use two of my 3 screens to record two separate instances of a single game (usually minecraft). One screen is my main account playing the game, and the second screen is from a camera account that is capturing timelapse footage.
I utilize the "Screen" capture mode as Game does not allow me to differentiate between two instances of the same game running.
The problem I am having is that I can get some game play recorded this way, but then the Active screen no longer functions properly by tying it to a single Desktop. At some point (and I've not been able to identify a particular event or sequence that triggers the problem) it goes from being a static selection to recording whichever desktop is active at the time.
The problem that that creates is that I need it to record a desktop that isn't active because that is the gameplay footage I am trying to capture (the camera account).
Again, it works fine for a while, but when it stops I have to fully reboot the machine.
A few things that would be very helpful:
- Either lock the Active Screen to a particular desktop ALWAYS if selected (I assume that is the intent, but it isn't working reliably)
- Allow the Application Selection to differentiate between two instances of the same program somehow.
- Allow the Game Capture Mode to differentiate between two instances of the same game running, somehow.
I could use Area Caputure Mode, but that is finnicky at best and a workaround that isn't very viable given that it's better at capturing a portion of a screen rather than a full screen.
Thank you!
