Whenever I go to stream gameplay to Twitch, in the bottom left it always says "ready to start video recording" and not "ready to start streaming"and due to this it records and streams at the same time, causing my ingame FPS to drop to unplayable numbers, I was wondering if there's a way to stop it from recording or to just disable recording all together for the time when I'm streaming. I have "record streamed video to disk" unchecked in the streaming settings and I'm on the latest version of Action! I have tried reinstalling the program but it didn't do anything. I have a full license for Action! which I purchased around 2 years ago.

Could you please record the whole process showing this issue and provide it to us?
We need to see Action! settings and how Action! records and stream at the same time.

Looking at your video I can tell that Action! does not record and stream at the same time. The other file is an audio recording. To disable audio recording please go to Settings -> Audio and disable AUX Audio option. About the performance issues: I can see that you stream without hardware acceleration. In Action! main tab you can find hardware acceleration option, make sure it is not disabled.
