Action
Action Version: 3.3.0
Recording Resolution: 720p
Recording Mode: Game

Windows and Hardware
OS: Windows 10
Video Card: AMD Radeon R7 250
CPU brand and model: AMD A8-7650K Radeon R7
Motherboard brand and model: MSI A68-HM GRENADE
Memory: 8GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Whenever I go to stream gameplay to Twitch, in the bottom left it always says "ready to start video recording" and not "ready to start streaming"and due to this it records and streams at the same time, causing my ingame FPS to drop to unplayable numbers, I was wondering if there's a way to stop it from recording or to just disable recording all together for the time when I'm streaming. I have "record streamed video to disk" unchecked in the streaming settings and I'm on the latest version of Action! I have tried reinstalling the program but it didn't do anything. I have a full license for Action! which I purchased around 2 years ago.

Could you please record the whole process showing this issue and provide it to us?
We need to see Action! settings and how Action! records and stream at the same time.

Here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZpFew4 ... e=youtu.be (Apologies if the quality isn't very good, I was recording on my phone, and apologies if I sound quiet, I recorded this at 3am, I also just attempted to start a stream, and press F9 to see if it would stop recording but continue to stream, and it just stopped recording and streaming)

Looking at your video I can tell that Action! does not record and stream at the same time. The other file is an audio recording. To disable audio recording please go to Settings -> Audio and disable AUX Audio option. About the performance issues: I can see that you stream without hardware acceleration. In Action! main tab you can find hardware acceleration option, make sure it is not disabled.

Given the relatively modest hardware setup (AMD A8-7650K, Radeon R7 250, and 8GB RAM), running two intensive tasks concurrently leads to severe FPS drops, making gameplay unplayable. Reinstalling the software and owning a full license does not resolve the issue, which strongly suggests this is either a software limitation, a known bug, or a design behavior in Action! rather than a user configuration mistake.

The situation occurs because Action! is still operating in recording mode while streaming, rather than switching fully into streaming mode. This causes simultaneous recording and streaming, leading to severe FPS drops. To resolve it, the user needs to explicitly switch to streaming mode only or disable recording mode entirely, rather than relying on the “record streamed video” setting.
