Audio Recording Issues

Sat Sep 08, 2018 1:15 am

Hello, I am recording a video game (The Witcher 3) with the split audio feature enabled. Most of the game sound is recorded fine, but when I decide to talk to an NPC their voices are recorded very silently. It sounds like they are in a different room almost. The rest of the game (Voices outside of conversations included) are totally fine. What is going on?

Please go to Settings -> Audio and enable or disable the "Allow multi-channel audio recording" option. See if that helps.

If your games audio works in, for example, 5.1 system and Action! records in stereo then some audo channels will be omitted. Characters dialogues, that may be focused on omitted channel, will sound quieter.
