Action! works great, however Sony Vegas and Corel Video Studio crashes when playback or rendering. VFR?

Hello,

I love Action!, and the video files are perfect and smooth quality. Also Windows has no problems whatsoever in playback. Nvidia plugin, or no plugin, all is fine and it works great.

However, when I add them to Corel Video Studio or Sony Vegas, and then try to playback and render the files, both programs crash.

I really had no idea what was causing this, because I normally always record with Nvidia Shadowplay and never experienced any of these problems, but I did find out it might be caused by the VFR (variable frame rate)

I was wondering if there is a solution for this? Is there some way of converting these files to CFR? Or how do you guys handle this issue? Because I cant be the only one who has this problem?

Please provide us a MediaInfo report of your file. To do this please download (it's free) MediaInfo from here: http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo. Once you have installed MediaInfo please go to your file location and right-click on it. Select MediaInfo. A new Windows with basic information should pop-up. Below you can find more information. Click the button and select "Tree" option. Advanced information will be displayed. Please export the report or simply create a screenshot of your Tree view.

Thanks for your reply.

I have recorded a new short clip with Action!, and did what you asked. I have attached a screenshot of this info.
I am not really sure if my settings are incorrect to be using with Video editing software.

This is an AVI file and it has constant framerate. Try exporting this file to MP4 using export feature in Action!

Thanks for your answer. I will do this and see if it works.
Could it be something else that is crashing then? Perhaps the codec which Action! is using?
