Action! GPU acceleration problem (NVENC)

Mon Sep 24, 2018 5:30 am

Hello. After recent patch (3.3.0) users can choose GPU for recording (Added Nvidia GPU selection that will be used to perform hardware acceleration (available via Hardware Acceleration Settings in main screen). For me it was a disaster because program gave me 1-5 fps with huge image distortion. In the same time 3.2.0 - everything fine.
What should i do?

Try updating or reinstalling your NVidia drivers.

Download these NVidia drivers: https://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDo ... type=TITAN

Start installation, select custom installation and uncheck all components leaving only basic graphics driver.
Select "clean install" option and install drivers. See if that helps.

Please try following steps below to completely re-install Action. You will need your serial number to activate your product again.
1. Uninstall Action!
2. Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
3. Go to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/
4. Remove Action! catalog.
5. Reboot your PC.
6. Install Action! again. Make sure that your installer file comes from official website - www.mirillis.com (if you have not purchased Action! through Steam).
You can activate Action! with the same serial number as before.

These steps should restore your Action! settings to default.

No. It did not help. Problem is coming from separation GPU (NVENC GPU selection) somehow it ignores SLI after 3.3.0 patch. If I drop image quality - FPS will be steady.

So the problem is that you have two graphics card in SLI and you have low fps, no matter which graphics card you select?
