Action! won't record properly

Hi! I've used Action! for about 3 years, and in the past few months I have been experiencing various problems ranging from the application not being able to record particular games in full-screen (it'll stop the recording and discombobulate the files so that none of them match in length) to simply crashing whenever I hit record. I do record them into separate files, which may be a contributing factor to the problem, but if I am to place them all into one file, the audio is always unsyncronized between the microphone and the screen. I have tried entirely removing Action!'s files from my computer (as the FAQ suggests) multiple times, but the issues tend to come back within a month.
(For context, I started having problems around when version 2 came out, but they became THIS with version 3. I'm using the program on a computer which uses 4.7 GB of memory consistently and has an intel CORE i7 7th Gen processing chip)

Does anyone by chance know how I might remedy this problem? Has anyone else found this to be an issue?

Hello. So you are recording microphone and webcam in a separate files, right?
Does the issue occur both for AVI and MP4 recording? How long are the recordings? Does the issue occur for every game? Does it occur for desktop recording?

Please provide us screenshots of your recording settings.

Hi! Generally speaking, the videos are about 30-40 minutes, and the problem tends to exist on desktop recording mode, although it does not seem to be a problem on the Gaming mode. This still presents a problem, however, as certain games are not registered as such by Action! and will not allow me to use that mode to record them (e.g. Minecraft). Regarding the MP4 and AVI issue, I actually began recording to AVI because the problem was so pronounced in the MP4 format.

Try adding video output folder ( in your case C:\Action!\Video) to exclusions in Norton antivirus. See if that helps.
