This is normal to happen?

Im using Action to stream and the Preview window capture a window of 1152x720 in a vga monitor of 1680x1050.
Ok that my monitor dont fit the 1080p resolution but at least it should be able to recognise all monitor but downscale if needed to the resolution we want.
