Problem Description
Game/App Problem: FINAL FANTASY XIV
Error Type: Game Freezing
Description: Game randomly freeze for 2-4 seconds when the Action recorder is launched. At first I thought the problem only occurs when recording or streaming is active, but it also happens when the Action software is just active in the background.

The game FFXIV for sure never freeze when the software is not launched.

So the game randomly lags for few seconds even if you are not recording?
Could you please provide us screenshots from following tabs:
- Video Recording,
- Video Settings.

Hi, i've attached the requested screenshot and with crash error.

I have same issue,
Game will not boot up if Actions on.
50% of time FFXIV crashes with DX error when Action starts.
Sometimes when takes a screenshot, it will crash 14
I now just can't use Action when I play 14 which is 90% of my PC use.

I turned off the hud.
This been happening for ages and must be over 8 or 9 months.

Same thing started happening to me since yesterday.
I tried starting the game first and then Action, letting it run for a while and then start it, tried to start both of them as admin then each one separately, nothing is working, if Action is running, the game will freeze within 3-5 seconds and just stop responding.
Help would be grateful, being able to record my gameplay is important to me.

This now happening again. Soon as action starts FFXIV just freezes 3 to 5 seconds later. Just updated to latest version of action and still the same.....
