Recording playback issue after 3.10 update

Fri Sep 20, 2019 7:16 am

After I updated to 3.10, I can't seem to playback any of my recordings through Action's video player. The video becomes very laggy and just seems to stop playing after a second but I can still hear the audio. It plays just fine with Windows Media Player.

Please try following steps below to completely re-install Action. You will need your serial number to activate your product again.
1. Uninstall Action!
2. Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
3. Go to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/
4. Remove Action! catalog.
5. Reboot your PC.
6. Install Action! again. Make sure that your installer file comes from official website - www.mirillis.com (if you have not purchased Action! through Steam).
You can activate Action! with the same serial number as before.

These steps should restore your Action! settings to default.

Same issue after 3.10 update. Action Player will not play videos. Followed all your steps from the above post. Reinstalled Action. Action Player still will not play video. Action Player opens momentarily then closes.

It's not a problem with the videos. I can play video with Cyberlink PowerDVD16.

Found problem. The lastest version of RivaTuner which is installed with MSI Afterburner was preventing ActionPlayer from playing videos. I've uninstalled MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner. I'm now using eVGA Precision X1. ActionPlayer now plays recorded videos. Only problem is the X1 OSD shows in ActionPlayer video play but does not show in Cyberlink PowerDVD video player. X1 OSD should only show in game play and not videos.
