low fps (after update?)

Fri Oct 18, 2019 11:22 pm

Hi there, I play apex legends and have recorded my gameplay w/ Action before. I updated to 3.10.1 (and later 3.10.2), but also bought a new monitor (Asus MX34V - in 3440x1440 native mode).

Normally, I can get Apex to never dip below 80-90 fps (when moving around) - and Action never really used to impact it. (Using Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070)

Game mode stopped working recently, and I've read the work around is to record full screen. When I do that, my FPS drops to about 35-45 fps when moving around in game, which makes the game unplayable while recording.

I'm at a loss on what to do. Things that changed were recent game updates, I bought a new monitor (but basically the same resolution), and Action got updated. I liked my purchase with Action, but I really can't use it anymore. any ideas?
