Hi folks, first post here

I like to do game coding videos where I record my code and talk over it as I write it. I often alt+tab in between game and code editor, however recently I have found that this corrupts the recording. It all works fine initially, however after the first alt tab switch into the game, the screen freezes.

Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue?

Could you please provide me a video sample where your issue occurs? Please upload your original video file to one of the popular sharing sites like Google Drive or Dropbox. It will help us investigate your issue.

I will post videos tomorrow but I can now confirm that this only affects mp4 while using nvidia hardware acceleration. I can tab in and out of game with no bad results when HA is turned off. AVI recordings also work without issue (but I can’t use that option as the files are too big).

Is there anything I can try in the settings to resolve this?
