"recorded" videos not recorded...

Been using this software since 2015, and today for the first time I had a very disturbing issue with action.
early today I've been recording my gameplays and everything was ok, after few hours something strange happened. When I was recording for nearly two hours, the recorded videos were not there. But the hudwasin red which indicates recording. The freespace numbers were going down which also indiated, that it was being recorded. Video length was counting, and this also told me the video was being recorded. So I opened vegas to edit those videos, I opene the recording folder, and what I see? I see nothing, empty like Kelly Bundy's head. I was really pissed off, because I was very satisfied with my gameplay...
I restarted action, I test-recorded 10 minutes, and it did record. Ok, I started all over again. Did the same, nearly two hours. Open vegas, open folder, and again Kelly Bundy head.
Until I get some proper answer why it is like this, I'm switchng to fraps, because I don't wanna waste time anymore like this.

Does the problem occur in game recording and screen recording mode?
Does AVI recording work?

I recorded mostly in ekran/screen mode, because Action rarely appears in gry/games mode. I don't know if the avi format works, because I never use it. MP4 is the reason I switched to Action from fraps 5 years ago.

Please try following steps below to completely re-install Action. You will need your serial number to activate your product again.
1. Uninstall Action!
2. Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
3. Go to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/
4. Remove Action! catalog.
5. Reboot your PC.
6. Install Action! again. Make sure that your installer file comes from official website - www.mirillis.com (if you have not purchased Action! through Steam).
You can activate Action! with the same serial number as before.

These steps should restore your Action! settings to default.
