No Sound recorded from "Active Screen" mode

Hi. I'm trying to record a video of my music program. I have all audio options set to default system. The video records but with no sound at all. I even tried switching to my audio device and nothing seems to work. If I'm in "Game" mode and record while in a game session, everything records just fine. In game mode I have the same default system sounds selected and it works. But not in screen mode. Any help is appreciated.
