Hi guys,

Just thought you might want to take a look @ No Man's Sky which is a fairly popular game. I'm copying this info from the forum so you understand better what's happening.

I'm using latest AMD drivers & Action! as of 27th July 2020.

OS: Windows 7 64bit
Video Card: AMD RX580
Memory: 4 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Video Editor: Power Director (not relevant since we can't even record the game)
Game Problem: No Man's Sky
Video Type: MP4

It basically crashes the game regardless of whether you use 'game' or 'screen' mode. This is a bit weird since it used to work before with 'screen' (only 'game' mode was a problem).

Can you guys patch this up in the next update? Would be much appreciated!

Go to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp. Find NMS.txt file and send it to us.

I have the following files there:

When we open the NMS_action.log there's:

DLL_PROCESS_ATTACH (UWP: 0)
VULKAN present seen

Is there anything else you need?

I just remembered maybe I can set the game as windowed and use 'screen' to record. But still, it would be nice if this could be fixed in some update.

Actually the game seems to crash with windowed + screen for recording as well. Hotfix would be appreciated.

Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
Go to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\Vulkan\ImplicitLayers
Remove etries that have "MirillisActionVulkanLayer.json" in its name.
Start Action! again and see if the game works.

The game works until I press 'record' via my keyboard which then crashes. tried all combos between recording the 'game' and 'screen' and the game being borderless and full screen etc. Disabling mods and all that. Always the same. I'll just use AMD's ReLive for NMS, it's fine. Thanks for trying to help.
