Action! makes Zoom crash

Mon Sep 14, 2020 2:53 pm

Heyho
Having Action! open while participating in a Zoom webinar makes Zoom crash at some point for me. It usually works fine the first few minutes, but there comes a point where the zoom Video will stop and clicking on it just makes the "not responding" error turn up, the sound keeps working fine though. It doesn't matter whether i'm actually recording something or just having Action! open in the background.

I've tried reinstalling Action! and Zoom multiple times, changed some settings in both, etc., nothing seems to help.

Some Specs:
OS: Windows 7
Video Card: NVidia GTX 1070
Memory: 16 GB
Resolution: 1080p
CPU: i7-4790K

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Try adding Zoom to exclusions in Action!

Thanks, that seems to have fixed it. One question thought - I can still record Zoom after setting it as an exception, the only thing that changed is that it Zoom doesn't crash anymore. Should it be like this or is Zoom just weird?

Ypu won't be able to record Zoom in game mode, but you can record it in screen mode.
