A way to record in streaming quality?

Wed Sep 23, 2020 5:00 am

Hello.
I was wondering if there is a setting that makes recorded gameplay video quality same as those that are streamed. Streamed videos are viewable with only windows media. No need for hdr codecs and such. Thus making it very easy to handle. Also, I love how small their file sizes are. I'd really love it if I can just record my gameplays in such quality. I don't want to have to stream just for the video qualities, you know?
So, if anyone knows, I'd really appreciate it if you shared it with us.

Please and thank you.

Main difference between recording and streaming is bitrate. Go to Settings -> Video and change the bitrate so it matches one in LIVE settings.
Also videos are streamed in AVC so make sure to not use HEVC or HEVC HDR10 hardware accelerations.

Thank you for your help. It is so good to deal with light video files that only requires Windows Media Player to check them. For the record, although it's same as what our developer said, my action setting is below.
Thanks again.

MP4
Nvidia NVENC
1080p
60 fps
Video quality: Low
Force bitrate: 6.4 Mbps
Use multicore recording (checked)
