Weird slowdowns in recorded video when quick and repetitive stuff is happening on screen

Fri Feb 12, 2021 1:21 am

So my problem is, when something quick and repetitive is happening on a certain portion of the screen, somehow Mirillis Action can't keep up and results in slowdowns only while playing the recorded video. This happens in anything that I record, either games (old and newer) or online video. It's weird, as none of this happens with Bandicam using similar recording settings. And it doesn't matter what video player software I use to playback, hardware-accelerated or not. This can become irritating with high motion games where there is always a lot of action happening on screen.

Here's an example video (Original): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VcYxeB ... sp=sharing

Does the issue occur for AVI and MP4 recording?

Do you record on internal or external drive?

I use an SSD with Windows and all programs, then a 1TB HDD that I use to store personal data and games, and an external USB3 drive of 500 GB that I use to only store multimedia (recorded videos) and photoshop/vegas projects. I tried to record to either the external drive and SSD, and happens the same thing.
