Recording Freezes

Hey guys! Quick question that I am hoping someone has a possible solution to. I am recording Mass Effect 3 and for the most part, it works great! But every now and then the recording will lag/freeze for 2-3 seconds before resuming again. I tried recording Biomutant as well and the same thing happens. The actual game does not freeze at al when i am playing/recording, so i am not sure why it does it on the recording.
My specs: Intel i9-9900K, RTX 2080TI, Windows 10, 64 GB DDR 4 Corsair Ram. I was using ultra mp4 recordings in game mode at 1080P, but tried to switch it to high and the same thing keeps happening. I am using an ultra wide monitor at 3440 X 1440 but the game is being played in 1080P in 16:9.
