Cracking audio

Is anyone getting cracking audio in your recordings? Is it still an ongoing issue?

If you are experiencing cracking audio issues try lowering the volume of sound devices in Action!.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't fix it. I dropped the system volume from 100% to 80% and I'm still hearing cracking sounds at random intervals. This is especially apparent during seemingly busy scenes with lots of audio ongoing at the same time

Never had any issue with audio until an Action update sometime mid last year

Do you have surround system like 5.1 or 7.1?

No, I do not have any surround system or hardware. Just a regular desktop audio

Please provide us your PC DxDiag report. It will help us investigate your problem.
To run a dxdiag report follow the steps below:

If you are running Windows Vista or higher go to your task bar.
Click on, "Start Button".
Click on, "Run".
In the pop-up window enter dxdiag and hit ok.
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
Click on, "Save all information tab".
"Save As" window should be present.
Click on, "Save" (The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag)
Close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

I still think that it is a volume problem. Probably caused by audio drivers.
Try lowering volume to 50% in Action! and see if issue persists.
