It did not work unfortunately. I recorded a footage at 30% of the volume. I still could hear the cracklings. I bumped up the volume during post-processing so the cracks could be heard clearer

Just an additional info though, I had no audio issue with the same setup in Bandicam, OBS and Xsplit

I also have the exact same problem. Here is an example of what the crackling sound looks like.

https://youtu.be/ibbQgmdClFU?t=1650

Action
Action Version: 4.27.1
Recording Resolution: Original (2160p)
Recording Mode: Live Streaming - Game & Applications

Windows and Hardware
OS: Windows 11
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
Video Driver Version: 496.76
CPU brand and model: Intel Core i9 9900K
Motherboard brand and model: MSI MPG Z390I GAMING EDGE AC
Memory: 32 GB
Monitor Resolution: 3840x2160

Problem Description
Game/App Problem: Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Error Type: Crackling noise
Video Editor: N/A
Description: During live broadcast and recording, Action! seems to make crackling noises in the result. It seems that it's occuring when it's trying to stream and record low-frequency sounds of jet engine spool. It reminds me of a phenomenon if you have a cheap subwoofer, and trying to play heavy bass music, and the subwoofer just couldn't make the sound so it crackles on sounds below a certain frequency.

Hello!
Was this ever resolved? I am having the same issue now. I tried lowering the volume, both in the system and in Action! but it persists. Any tips are appreciated, thank you.

Not sure if you guys use any type of Virtual Cables but I changed the Input Source to the Output Source (CABLE Output) instead and it fixed my problem. I'm assuming (probably wrong, someone can correct me?) it has something to do with passing audio through hardware then through a software virtual cable and then through another software virtual cable which is then being recorded which probably causes these crackling sounds as it goes through multiple stages of "compression". Whereas changing the Input Source to the Output Source instead it only goes through the hardware then through the virtual cable.

Thanks for the tip, however I personally don't have that option.

Anyone from Action! support?! I have bought and tested an add-on sound card (Asus Xonar) and tested it as my sound output. No difference, the sound comes out crackled.

Please help!

Also; some of my previous comments here never posted

Oy, I have this problem. Always with one game.

https://youtu.be/T3FpSY_vlJc
Game - DARQ. Time code 0:53

I can work with you team for future fix.

but... since this video i have upgraded windows and processor for one generation. But this problem is very rare for me in other games. But in this game it is especially relevant.

What option have you selected in Primary Sound Device?
