Software crashes when microphone is enabled

Whenever I record gameplay with my secondary sound device active Action crashes as soon as I hit the record button. I have the latest version, an AMD Ryzen 9 processor, 16 GB, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 graphics card
