Custom Overlay questions.

Hi all,

So, I'm trying to set up/use Custom Overlays in Action!, and am running into some issues with it.
Unfortunately, I can't find any kind of helpful information/documentation showing how to use it properly. So I hope I can get some direction here.

First, I can't figure out how they work in general.
They seem to all be loaded at the same time, and even using the assigned keys to enable/disable them, nothing changes. I would expect pressing Ctrl-1 would toggle Overlay 1 on/off, but it doesn't do anything. The overlay remains visible no matter what. How is this supposed to work?

Second, what's the distinction between "HUD", "Video" and "HUD/Video"? It's not clear which one to use, when or why.

Third, when I have them enabled, they'll actually cover up my entire screen, not just the preview of the stream/game. Why is this happening?

Those are the immediate things I can think of. If anyone can provide some info on these, or point me to a resource that does, I'd be most appreciative!

Thanks :)

You've properly assigned the hotkeys in Settings > Hotkeys. Double-check that there are no conflicts with other functions.
- The overlays are enabled in Settings > Overlays. Each overlay you create needs to be assigned and activated in this menu for the hotkeys to work.
- Try toggling the hotkeys without overlapping functionalities. Sometimes, Action! may glitch if multiple overlays or other elements are active simultaneously.
- If the overlays remain visible despite pressing the assigned hotkeys, this could be a bug or a configuration issue. Try restarting Action! or reinstalling it to clear any cached issues.
