Audio gradually goes out of sync on long recordings

Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with Action! that I can’t seem to solve on my own. When I record longer sessions (usually 30–60 minutes), the audio slowly goes out of sync with the video. At the beginning everything is perfectly fine, but as the recording continues, the audio starts lagging behind more and more.
This happens both with game recordings and desktop recordings.
My PC specs should be more than enough (stable FPS in-game, no CPU or disk spikes during recording).
Has anyone experienced audio desync like this with long recordings in Action!?

Has anyone else encountered this kind of audio desync when listening to lengthy Action! recordings?

Yes, a few people have run into this with longer recordings in Action!. It is often related to audio sample rate mismatch (for example 44.1 kHz vs 48 kHz) or variable frame rate recording. Try setting both Windows sound settings and Action! to 48 kHz, and if possible enable constant frame rate recording. Also make sure your recording drive is fast enough and not close to full.

Hopefully that fixes the gradual desync.

I’ve run into this before, and in my case it was related to audio sample rate mismatches between the recording software and Windows settings, which caused gradual drift over longer sessions. It might also be tied to variable frame rate recording, which some editors struggle to sync properly. Locking both audio settings and using constant frame rate helped reduce the issue significantly.
