MP4 problem with Vegas

When I record on MP4 (AMD APP) at 1080p 60 fps and recording the microphone separate, when imported to Vegas, only the audio is there and there is no video. Is there a way to fix this because it's frustrating. Thank you!

If you record microphone and system sounds in same channel, it works.
I also found out if you choose AVI as file format, Sony Vegas will display video track but VLC won't be able to play it.

VLC does not support AVI video codec FICV.
