splash 2.7 crash windows 11

have windows 11 25h2 26200.7309, i9 12900f and rtx 4060ti
since i've installed nvidia drivers 591.44

splash don't work,
I try to open it by double-clicking; the window appears but closes automatically. Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.

Same here. Since the new Nvidia driver 591.44, Splash starts briefly and then immediately terminates without an error message.

I can confirm that NVIDIA driver 591.44 causing player to not run. Studio driver 576.80 has no issue to run the player.

This looks like it could be a compatibility issue with the latest Nvidia 591.44 drivers on Windows 11 25H2. A few users have reported similar behavior with older Splash builds after recent driver updates. You could try rolling back to the previous Nvidia driver to confirm, or reinstall Splash and run it once as administrator. If that does not help, reporting this to Mirillis support with your exact driver and Windows build would be a good idea so they can investigate and patch it.

I explained this to support on the very first day and haven't received a reply yet. Of course, I also tried running as administrator and reinstalling. Splash only works with drivers older than 591.44

After installing NVIDIA driver 591.74, Splash Pro video player consistently crashes on startup. (Rolling back to the previous version fixes the issue).

Hi! Easy. To solve this annoying problem and continue using this wonderful player, simply add any character before the name of the libmfxsw32.dll file. For example, !libmfxsw32.dll. Success!

mine also when my laptop updates and nvidia drivers were updated.. when i tried to open splash. it will automatically closes

already tried to changed all possible settings via properties like "run compatibility using win8"
"run as admin" etc etc. i hope they could resolve this issue
