Looks like the installer is failing to write one of the demo/sample video files (99999.m2ts) into the Splash folder. I had a similar issue before and it was caused by Windows permissions / antivirus blocking file creation inside Program Files (x86).
Try these steps:
Completely close the installer.
Delete the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mirillis\Splash\
if it already exists.
Temporarily disable Windows Defender “Controlled Folder Access” or any antivirus real-time protection.
Right-click the installer → Run as Administrator.
Install to a custom folder instead, for example:
C:\Splash\
instead of Program Files.
If it still fails on the same .m2ts file, it may also mean:
the previous installation left a locked file behind,
disk permissions are corrupted,
or the installer package itself is incomplete/corrupted.
In that case, re-download the 3.0.2 beta installer and try again after rebooting Windows.
You can also press “Ignore” to continue installation and see whether Splash launches normally afterward.
