NEW FEATURE: Hardware accelerated HEVC/H.265 video decoding support added for NVIDIA and Intel graphics cards
Does not support HEVC/H.265, only audio plays, who tests the updates?

Regards
You should have compatible GPU, GTX980 doesn't support HEVC naively.

It works fine with my GTX 960, HEVC 4K 8/10bit

H265/HEVC codec works with my GTX 970. Dolby TrueHD still has issues, no audio playback though.

Used driver sweeper to do a clean re-installed of the latest nVidia drivers v364.51 for my 2x ASUS GTX980 Poseidon's which seems to have fixed the HEVC/H265 playback... I wish nVidia would make driver uninstalls a lot more simplistic and wipe the left over junk completely along with the mains.

EDIT:
Nope, no good still, only plays lower HEVC/H265 bit rates, it wont do 10bit ... nothing wrong my Drivers nor hardware because the 10bit movie file I'm testing works with both x32 and x64 MPC-BE and MPC-HC players... so it's the SPLASH player!!!

Hi guys,

To be sure to have a clean display driver install, Nvidia or AMD, use UDD : http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/vie ... ?f=5&t=228

So I have a question. The requirement says the minimum for decoding h265 using Intel graphic is 4th generation and my laptop is using i5-4500U. But I still could not play the h265 with 10bit anime (Splash 2 crashed) even after I updated my driver. Is this because of specification of my laptop or I am missing something? Thanks

I've tested 3 types of 10bit HEVC movie files and the playback error is definitely the SPLASH player for me, only successfully plays lower 8bit HEVC H265 files... your laptop is fine.

Thanks a lot for your response. I now hope Splash will fix this problem soon.

Braki w wersji 2.0.3 , które mnie irytują: ;)

1) opóźnienie audio:
- regulacja tylko kursorem myszy ! ( dlaczego nie kółkiem myszy lub klawiaturą ? )
- opóźnienie regulowane co 50 milisekund ! ( dlaczego nie co 1 milisekundę ? )
- fajnie by było gdyby można je wpisywać również ręcznie.
- odtwarzacz nadal nie pamięta ustawionego opóźnienia. Za każdym razem muszę ustawiać np 250 milisekund do każdego filmu. Oglądam na TV a audio idzie przez G35 i mam zawsze takie samo opóźnienie i chciał bym aby odtwarzacz to pamiętał. Denerwuje mnie ciągłe ustawianie w kółko tego samego.
Pozdrawiam i liczę na update. :geek:

Deficiencies in version 2.0.3, which irritated me: ;)

1) audio delay:
- Control only the mouse! (Why does not the mouse wheel or keyboard?)
- Adjustable delay of 50 milliseconds! (Why not every 1 millisecond?)
- It would have been nice if they can be entered manually.
- The player still does not remember the preset delay. Every time I have to set the example, 250 milliseconds for each film. I watch on TV and the audio goes through the G35 and I always have the same delay and wanted me to have the player to remember. It annoys me constantly setting the same stuff.
Greetings and I hope to update. :geek:

Come on men... Windows Media Player on Windows 10 is able to read H265 HEVC at 10 bits and Splash 2.0, a paid product, is not???

Please add the support for 10 bits...
