Is Exporting also Free in Splash 2.x?

Can anyone tell if Splash is now 100% Free?

Just a couple of Questions :

1) Why did it become free?

2) Export feature still available?

3) Is it Advertising and Junk all that coming in free version or will it stay Clean?

Because if any bad things are coming, I will go back to VLC/MPC-HC/K-LIte Codec. Just saying.

LOVE Splash, but please do not ruin it for it being free.
